Product description

fermentlife® fermented turmeric paste is the result of an innovative, controlled fermentation process. The product combines all health benefits of the turmeric root, but they are enhanced by fermentation-specific changes. Beside health-related properties the main focus of the fermented turmeric paste is on its special sensory profile and soft, velvety texture. The typical earthy, somewhat bitter taste of turmeric is transformed by fermentation into a slightly sour, pleasantly harmonious aroma with a unique fermentation-typical note. As such, our fermentlife® Turmeric Paste is the ideal base for creative fine-dining dishes.

Equally, the paste can also be used for the production of vegetarian/vegan spreads, marinades, healthy snacks, convenience products, and even baked goods. The fermented turmeric paste is well-tolerated, and an ideal ingredient as a single or blended formula. Shelf life and product safety during storage is secured by inactivating the microorganisms after fermentation. Nevertheless, health-promoting effects such as immune-modulation and positive influence on the microbiome through specific metabolites still maintain.
